Background
During the pandemic, online learning surged alongside a booming stock market, bringing a wave of new retail investors. As developers of financial education and trading software, we noticed a gap: most courses focused only on theories, lacking a way for users to practice and apply knowledge directly to trading.
We began to rethink the connection between online learning and trading software—asking how we could truly help investors turn knowledge into action.

Users hesitate due to incomplete information and doubt the effectiveness of the strategies.
Content is often one-way information, lacking practical exercises and results validation.
The biggest pain point: users still feel unconfident and afraid to start trading after finishing the course.
Business Strategy

Brokerage features are similar, leading users to choose based only on low fees and resulting in low loyalty.
Traditional brokers only provide trading tools, not guidance. Users often leave the platform after losing money.
Create a positive loop: Learning → Validation → Trading → Profit. This cycle effectively reduces user churn.

We believe that learning shouldn't stop at reading or watching. By deeply integrating the web academy with our trading terminal, users can sync and apply a mentor’s strategies directly in the software while they learn. This transforms passive consumption into an interactive, hands-on experience, making the learning process far more efficient.

Moving beyond simple text discussions, we’ve turned abstract investment ideas into shareable digital assets. Users can instantly import stock screeners and trading signals shared by others. This resource-sharing ecosystem creates high switching costs, making the software an irreplaceable core tool for the user’s daily routine.

A Customizable Framework for Maximum Efficiency
Designed with a user-centric approach, the dashboard offers total flexibility for trading habits. Users can resize, drag, and reorder components based on their analytical preferences. This modular structure ensures a seamless, personalized trading environment that significantly boosts decision-making efficiency.
Branding & Visual Identity
Brand Naming: Tanji (探吉)
The name "Tanji" is a homophone for "earning money" in local culture. We aim to break the stereotype of cold, intimidating investment tools by creating an approachable brand experience. Like a financially-savvy best friend, Tanji makes learning and asset growth an enjoyable, shared journey.
Visual Symbolism
The logo uses an Orange a local symbol of good fortune as the primary motif. Through negative space, we integrated a Lightbulb (strategy) and a Smile (profit), symbolizing the shift from ideas to gains. The palette of Investment Blue and Tanji Orange balances professional trust with community warmth.
